Description
The 2015-2021 STI has the quickest steering ratio of any Subaru product to date -- it's 13:1 compared to 15:1 on older WRX and STI models. This rack will bolt directly in to any 2008-2014 WRX or STI. (On narrow-body 2008-2010 WRX models, you will have to shorten the tie rod ends. We take 5/8" off each inner tie rod, and maybe trim off a tiny bit of the outer tie rod if needed.)
It can also be installed on older WRX and STI cars, with some modification required to the chassis. (Details here.)
This is a brand new, OEM Subaru part, not a used or rebuilt item.
Consider adding some upgraded steering rack bushings while you are installing this part.
Fits all 2008-2014 WRX and STI. (2015-2021 STI too, of course...) Fits other Subaru models with some customizing. Note that this part is NOT suitable for 2015+ WRX, since that car has electric power steering. This rack fits LEFT HAND DRIVE (LHD) cars ONLY. Sorry, we do not offer a RHD rack.
