Having strange issues with your car after installing an aftermarket intake on your 2015-2021 WRX or 2014-2018 Forester XT? First thing to do is check the Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF) for corrosion. Many times the supplied extension harness does not seal the connector well enough and water gets into the sensor which causes corrosion and eventually failure.
iWire's upgraded MAF Extension harness utilizes military grade materials and construction methods to keep water out of the MAF by potting (gluing) where the wires that go into the connector which is the most likely failure point on stock extension harnesses. Additionally iWire utilizes high quality Tefzel wire and Raychem DR-25 heat shrink to ensure the extension harness can withstand the harshest enviornments and provide the most accurate signal to the engine computer as possible.
