When it's time to change the transmission and rear differential fluid, our drivetrain fluid kits make it easy. You get enough Motul transmission fluid (3 one-liter bottles) for your gearbox, and a one-liter bottle of Motul 90PA fluid for the rear differential. Choose between the normal Gear 300 75/90 transmission fluid, or the LS version. (Although the gearbox does not need the LS fluid, some people, including some of our staffers, prefer the feel of the LS fluid.)
Tech note: Some people have called us asking, "How come you only include three liters of fluid when my service manual says more?" The answer is that when you're changing the fluid, a lot of the fluid is going to stay in the transmission, stuck between the gears and other parts. The result is that it takes less fluid than the manual specifies to fill the transmission full. The amount we sell in these kits is just the right amount for your fluid change.
This kit is perfect for all 2015+ (including 2022+) Subaru WRX with the cable-actuated six-speed manual transmission. This also works with the 2010-2011 Legacy GT manual transmission. This kit is NOT for the WRX STI six-speed -- for that transmission you will want this kit.
